Yeah they test your patience…

Your tantrums or the kids?

This helped my wife and I yesterday https://youtu.be/EQK-Gj4wl1U?si=oV9tymcFDUVDoGUl

I love After Skool!! But now I’m literally sobbing 😭😭😭 I love this

Tantrums are no fun. When my kids were having tantrums I found it useful to laugh at them, mock them, and ask them “How’s this working out for you? You getting what you want?”. Not saying it’s easy to ignore but they needed to learn a tantrum gets them opposite of what they desire and think it was just entertainment for me (even though it’s not). Not telling you what to do, just what worked for me. I understand it’s really hard on a mom so pass them off to nostr:nprofile1qqsvfr3f7p95stxqrjslnmuvsmhcxxxqt8swjdfjx5tz7zq0yms5cygpzemhxw309a6k6cnjv4kzumr0vdskcw358q6rsqgkwaehxw309aex2mrp0yh8qunfd4skctnwv46qtw0njk if needed for the tough love stuff 🚁😁.

Have you tried throwing your own tantrum? I always find a babies reaction to a parent whining hilarious

Toddlers are rough, best of luck

They test us all. I like to think of them as meditation practice, just be cool ice cold

it’s hard to be cool when they bite/grab your face 😭 tips welcome

Heard. Hold your boundaries calmly (to the best of your ability). "Oh youd like to bite and grab me?" Hold face, "sorry can't let you do that"

The most annoying stuff is where our patience will be tested, but also the biggest opportunities for our own growth. It dredges up stuff with how we were parented (for better or worse), and allows us to react differently and consciously

Sorry to go so deep on this but it is a golden opportunity for us to look at our default responses. No therapists needed if you have a bunch of kids and are open to learning from them
