What is your stance on Monero? I tried to have this conversation earlier, but got shot down as a shit coiner.

How does one afford to buy monero(or bitcoin) when they don't even have enough funds, to even buy food or support basic needs as is?
While I agree with you premise, my question is regarding with what you said about privacy. Bitcoin is not private. All transactions are on the blockchain for all to see.
Bitcoin is private if used properly.
Manage your UTXOs, buy P2P, coinjoin, etc
Bitcoin, just has more of a learning curve.
So, the folks that don't care about privacy, arnt private, and the ones who care, can be private.
It's this kind of....... flexibility, or freedom if you will, that makes bitcoin what it is.
Monero is a good currency. The value is obviously privacy. However, the classification as a shitcoin is from bitcoin maximalists.
If you would like a more thorough explanation of this, please let us know. But we can offer a brief examination.
Bitcoin maximalists are so for several reasons. So, by definition, anything else is a shitcoin. But maximalism of any sort, is generally not a good idea. A good crypto currency user will understand that monero serves a different purpose than bitcoin.
With the main feature of monero being privacy by default, as opposed to bitcoin's transparency by default, bitcoiners have to follow a few more steps to be as private as monero. This alone deters many folks.
Studying both currencies will only strengthen you. If we can offer one though, it would be the tried and true: you can spend in monero, but save in bitcoin.
