When privacy, is free, easy, and convenient, then the masses will join.
Until then, it's all just a pipe dream.
Many will be forced into the CBDC, simply because they can't afford privacy.

What is your stance on Monero? I tried to have this conversation earlier, but got shot down as a shit coiner.
I'm bitcoin only myself,
But,
It's the same issue regardless of what coin...

How does one afford to buy monero(or bitcoin) when they don't even have enough funds, to even buy food or support basic needs as is?
While I agree with you premise, my question is regarding with what you said about privacy. Bitcoin is not private. All transactions are on the blockchain for all to see.
Bitcoin is private if used properly.
Manage your UTXOs, buy P2P, coinjoin, etc
Bitcoin, just has more of a learning curve.
So, the folks that don't care about privacy, arnt private, and the ones who care, can be private.
It's this kind of....... flexibility, or freedom if you will, that makes bitcoin what it is.
#Privacy will never be easy and convenient but it can be made easier and more convenient to adopt. The rest is all about accessible education and willingness to learn. Privacy will likely never be affordable to the mass because of the time and skills it requires. Even if privacy tech isn’t for everybody, it’s important for users of privacy-preserving tech to grow the user base to a critical mass especially for tech for which the value depends on a network effect like #Monero.
We believe privacy is free, easy and convenient...and available at this very moment. The catalyst is a change in mindset. The education required is minimal, but often, it is more productive to surround oneself with like minded people.
We created a free, self guided course for this very reason at https://deltacharlie.tech/
