Agreed I have no sympathy for myself because I'm addicted to sugar. It's been like when I quit smoking. It took a long time but finally did it. It's not just discipline but a removal of the source. I have an addictive personality so the struggle continues. I'm getting back on track fasting so this will help

I don't have sympathy for you but I am proud of you. I'm proud of anyone that seems to actually be taking active measures to change. I'm addicted to sugar caffeine and nicotine too. It might not change very soon because to me, I'm in my 30s and still very healthy. I don't smoke ( I do pouches) and while I do eat a lot of sugar, we make real food (chicken, beef, rice, beans, etc) for dinner nearly every day. Sometimes we have pizza on Friday. 🍕

Well pizza is delicious

I chewed for years and smoked and dipped for decades. I still wake up dreaming about Copenhagen lol. It took me a lot to quit dipping and in order to smoked more. Took me years to quit smoking and only did so when my wife was pregnant. Quiting was one of the hardest things I did. I put on a bunch of weight during that time. My mind switched gears and craved sugar as replacement. Now struggling to dump that. I stress eat too and I'm working a new job that I don't have much experience in so has been very stressful.

I'm working on it though

I quit smoking and before I started pouches I didn't have any nicotine for years. I remember quitting was one of the hardest things I have ever done. Maybe pouches would help with the sugar and weight. Although I'd hate to encourage you to get back on nicotine... But I think the pouches are healthier than being overweight.

Nicotine is good for you. Raises T & sharpens focus. Also has health benefits as a binding receptor.

Keep the nicotine. Lose the sugar & weight. Winning. 🏆

Yeah no nicotine for me. I have an addictive mind so I need to stay away. I don't even really drink much anymore and all that's left is sugar. The struggle is real. I did make it 21hr fast today though
