Either bitcoin is anti fragile or it’s not.

I think it is anti fragile.

I better have the real Mona Lisa than stupid JPEG onchain of bitcoin 😏

this is what happens when you huff the hopium farts too much.

HoneyBadger bites off Cobra's head and eats it, venom and all

Then rolls over on his back, feet up, and motionless...

Later, waking from his astral dream he stumbles back to carry off Cobra's headless body for his children to eat

HoneyBadger cares not about venom

from the Tales of the HoneyBadger #[2]

IMO anti fragility is not a binary thing. It depends on the whole community also, not only on the software. If wrong ideas spread into Bitcoin community then Bitcoin can become more fragile. I think ordinals and inscriptions are bad: ordinals proposes a way to break fungibility. Inscriptions gives enemies the opportunity to inscribe “bad jpegs” to allow states to forbid running full nodes. That’s an attack vector that I hope is never used but now it exists and is easy. Also it pushes unwanted MB on lots of node users.

I think the “it’s not spam bc they pay the fees” is a wrong idea that hurts anti fragility. Does not kill it but hurts it.

Sounds like you think Bitcoin is very fragile…

Good thing you are wrong 🙂

I don’t think it is. I think anti fragility is a feature that emerges from the software AND the community/ethos of bitcoin, not only from the software. I also think (and hope) it can get better.
