I think, ironically, you believe at the same time that Trump is more powerful than the US security apparatus, and yet you can't conceive that the humans at working for that same security apparatus can simply make mistakes.
You lack a realistic notion of how an assassination plot like this would work. The secret service guys in charge of the security detail would probably NOT be involved and the operation would have to be real.
That means placing the shooters in a way that they would avoid detection by the honest/not implicated agents, and conducting the operation with a very high risk of failure.
You’re making assumptions about me when I haven’t even shared an opinion with you yet. I’ve asked you one question and my question has caused all of these unfounded conclusions about me come out of your mind.

I’ll answer:
They are capable of doing it
The spectacle is important to them, and most of them would prefer not to if possible (in my subjective judgement)
Since they are at a point where they are resorting to violence after failing with the media and the justice system, they will start trying as long as it cannot be credibly traced back to them (which would be a huge disaster)
Imagine what would’ve happened if we knew real time that JFK was killed by the CIA - they can not conduct business that way

I’m trying to document things as fast as possible because in the wake of events like this is when you can get the most “real” information.
Unfortunately, in a year there will already be a narrative set in stone, and any interesting information will likely be buried or at least censored. (Imo)
