Unpopular opinion: the term “fiat” gets thrown around way too often to describe things that are associated with “making money” or that people otherwise just don’t like.
Nothing wrong with building wealth. (Just store it in Bitcoin for best results).
If your goal is to stack fiat, well, joke’s on you.
It’s great that more people are recognizing what fiat money is, what it isn’t, and why it’s so problematic.
But, while using certain traditional methods to grow your business may land on the lower end of the moral spectrum, it’s kind of cringeworthy to categorically describe that as “fiat”. Words are awesome, so why be lazy?
(This is not directed at anyone in particular; it’s just a trend I’ve noticed over recent years).
