For several days now, relay.nostr.bg has been attacked by bots that write like humans. If these bots are blocked based on the weight of words and certain word combinations, notes from real people who write like bots might also get blocked 🤔

Maybe a minimum PoW is required for notes to be accepted?
In real life, any minimal PoW means that no one will post on your relay 😅
In my limited testing, a note with pow of (if I recall correctly ~ 5) wasn’t too oppressive for mobile posting.
Also true that expecting someone to operate some sort of home machine with the ability to provide PoW notes at home, hook all that up, and effective use Nostr completely ruins the UX.
I don’t have a good solution… 🤔
It seems to me that most clients do not support PoW at all and no one will buy it. But of course, PoW for the first note could be a solution if it were convenient to implement in the clients.
