The chaos is beautiful!

Thank you - I love that too. Especially chaotic this year after the fires and crazy winds this past January. I wasn’t sure at all what was going to pop up where.

They all seem to be getting along. 🌞

Beautiful

Thank you.

Mine looks very similar, just more weeds and less flowers 😂

I am in over my head in weeds - the high winds of January blew my freshly sown flower seeds and the neighborhoods seeds (it seems) all over the land. I was not sure what I was going to get this time so I sort of let it just happen. Stuff is popping up everywhere even places I didn’t plant a thing. It’s interesting to see romaine lettuce popping up in the middle of your walking path.

I feel you. I gave up on pulling them all and busted out the mower today. At least the pathways won't have weed seeds multiplying.

Alsl the sunflowers are out of control this year in the paths and beds, thousands of them popping up

Sunflowers! That is so nice!!!

How!? Were still getting frosts here

This is Southern California. I actually start to get a little bummed around this time of year because the lettuce starts to die and I don’t like that. I found my dark purple butter lettuce dead this morning. I think I would like to have a garden where it’s cooler a little longer.

You’re bummed about the springtime sun? Wish we had as much. Have you tried a shade cloth? Also … I wonder if darker leaves don’t like so much sun … maybe lighter lettuce would do better for you?

I know I know! I sound bratty. The sun here just gets so intense. I’m not ready for it yet. I would like to see more rain or at least more seasons.

I spoke too soon - June gloom seems to be coming early!

Oh. I see how that works… thanks for the sunshine!!

this image made so much more sense with color toggled one. Nice
