Yea I’m not sure how else to think about them at this point. Algos and features to keep you hooked and attention on the app. Creators rewarded with payouts for engagement. All so they can insert ads in your timeline and the videos you watch.
Actually those who have used them correct have a connection with their social network on them. Period. Nostr hasn't and isn't fixing this.
