I was definitely a better speller before smartphones, but I’m arguably still pretty good. It’s the predictive text that has seemingly gotten so much worse.

I have predictive turned off. I’ve always found it incredibly annoying. What I’ve noticed is that auto correct is suggesting shit like this.

Found the source of the issue, for me at least..

Settings > General > Dictionary > deselect Apple Dictionary

Just did it, working so much better now. So it has to be what I said. Apple has a woke dictionary where they prioritize broken English in order to be “inclusive”.
