Almost never watching TV. Tuning into Dutch television today, seeing a #Bitcoin sign and all boxes are ticked within a few seconds: criminals, scams, Russian hackers.
Normies still watching this garbage TV stuff are still being fed with a lot of arguments and images that Bitcoin is mainly used by criminals.

I never once heard on tv that bitcoin is used by criminals. But I have heard that on the internet. Just like how they say monero is only for people into organized crime.

i met 2 colleague fresh from Holland hitchhiking when we drove thru southern Europe this summer, who checked with me if I believe in global warming, i said it's more of a propaganda, dude's got disappointed and got off early.

Same in Spain. It’s all over the EU. Criminal convicted Christine Lagarde said it long time ago: Bitcoin is an escape hatch and we can’t allow people to use it. (paraphrasing). So scare tactics work the best here.
