The average American male life expectancy is 76.33 years.
Just throwing that out there.

And declining. That metric matters more to me than nearly any other vecyut says so much.
*because it (holy shit fat fingers)
If only.
FYI this is "life expectancy at birth." The older you get, all other things held equal, your expected total life span gets longer because "life expectancy at birth" includes the probability that you will die at age 1, at age 2, at age 3, etc. A 50 year old person has a total life span expectancy of around like 80 or so. (There are calculators online that factor in age, smoking, weight, etc.)
If you compare it to the Chinese life expectancy I believe you will find a massive shift in the other direction for the Chinese over the past few years, such that their life expectancy has shot up and surpassed USA (if you believe Chinese data - or American for that matter. lol).
I think about this often
I windsurf with men and women who are 70-80 years old and they fucking shred! It's impressive. Shut the screen off. Quit eating sugar. Keep moving.
Crazy how that's significantly lower than other developed countries and that it's even trending down
I'd be happy if I made it that far
