Guys come on.
If any altcoin isn't a shitcoin is Monero. It's PoW, ASIC resistant, has a real economy around it (try using Bitcoin on the darknet... they only accept XMR), and transactional privacy is a real use case.
Besides, don't we wanna encourage Nostr adoption beyond just bitcoiners? If you don't like Monero just don't join the community.

Nostr has censorship. Only need to convince servers not to relay the messages of "the ideologically pure Bitcoin maxi"
A nostr relay can censor. That doesn't mean you can be censored from the protocol...
Not me; a Bitcoin user for over 10 years and I like having a bit of XMR in my bag. It’s rare to meet a pure maxi IRL, even though they seem so prominent on social media.

They can't deal with the fact that the glorious Monero is superior
Nostr is full of $btc Maxis. Maxis are folk that can't handle competition and would probably get the government to outlaw all competition if they ever got the government's ear. There are a lot of shit coins but it's the individuals choice if they want to buy it. I think some of the alts, what they call shit coins, even have valid use cases like Monero and Ethereum. And I think BTC should adopt some of the LTC features. Anyhow I also have gripes with those as well. But then again I also have issue with BTC.
The equivalent of the btc maxi exists on the monero side so I guess there's that. Tribalism go figure.
