Good ass question! There's a few construction workers/trades people who can listen throughout the day as they are doing work or people who commute a ton or drive for a living

I don't doubt that I could **listen** to 40 hours per week, but for information-dense stuff on topics I care about, that's only half the equation.

For me, if I want to get anything useful long-term out of a podcast, I have to also take notes on it and integrate them into the rest of my personal knowledge set.

I agree. I listen to things and then if it's a topic that captivates me I do research and may write an article on it.

It brings up a controversial topic: fountain does the #40hpw and I believe they payout sats to those who accomplish it.

They give out says for people who share fountain content as well.

Its a killer marketing initiative. But, like you mention when does the marketing initiative dilute the quality of the product and use cases you're trying to push?

Now you're seeing the #GM debate and the zaps over likes debate. There is so much going on in nostr that is pushing the limits of social media as we know it meanwhile people on x are circle Jenking around Elon Musk wishing, hoping, to get enough follows to get sponsorships or paid on x.
