I don't actually like any of their products but I'm ready to grap the popcorn when the maxis have an autistic meltdown about the monero integration

I doubt they'll actually add XMR since they are a private company and have no obligation to do so.

David Peterson (@davidgpeterson on X), who is the General Manager of Proton VPN, has stated they will add Monero support to their Summer roadmap if there is an online petition with 1000 people acknowledging they'd switch to Proton VPN (Or a Proton product in general)

I don't trust Proton personally. I also don't like how an alleged privacy company made users beg for a private payment method (I believe it was the largest request on their forums for years). Mullvad, IVPN, countless other businesses didn't make us beg it was a mutual thing. Found their excuses on Seths podcast pretty weak as well. But cool for others to have the option I suppose.
