Why not? It is not permissionless money? Why should i validate it with state if my coins are tainted or not to make big purchases?

That's nice to hear. My transformation started a decade before BTC even arrived on this planet which made me immediately go all in in 2010, when grasping its significance. Maybe I just spent more time in the field, which makes me now a proponent of privacy tech.

You're right and with you in spirit, but that's more to the point. Anything the state doesn't like get's neutered and co-opted or pushed to the black market (aka the free market and only place you can enforce Bitcoins permissionlessness)

The guy is not wrong. What is the point of Bitcoin if the entire structure to acquire them is government controlled. It's not cash anymore. It turns into Electronic money.

You accept the status quo (KYC everything) like a good statist. It tells me that you've already given up which makes you a tool for their agenda.

The moment you started to differentiate between your KYC and no-KYC stack is a pivotal moment for any Bitcoiners. It's a silent retreat from former ambitions, a sign that institutional adoption will bring decay over Bitcoin.

As much as I hate the state I kind of like living in current society. Not really ready to burn everything down and live in anarchy.

Prefer we slowly transition to a hard money standard and allow for more and more people to get on the lifeboat that is bitcoin so we can take power away from the evil parasites currently running the joint
