How often do you have to reread a sentence to improve your pronunciation or emphasis?
Discussion
All the time, lol. It’s probably takes me 4-5x as long to record something than to just sit down and read it.
Sometimes the article/paper is also full of name or places or words that I can’t pronounce, or realize when reading aloud that I just kinda pass over it and don’t really know how it’s pronounced. Then I have to stop, look it up, practice a few times, and record again.
Every so often there’s just a weird combination of words that just makes reading aloud without a slip up nearly impossible. I’ll have to do 20 takes just to get it right… I’ve considered making blooper reels of that before 🤣
Ok, good to know it's not just me fumbling around.
Thank God for editors...
You both have lovely reading voices.
