Not being able to zap makes me wanna just put nostr down until it works again. Totally fucks with the experience in my opinion.

Coinos I think. Unless itās user error, which is always possible.
Primal is easy af. Why not use it? You can also use NWC to use the Primal wallet for sending in other apps like Damus and Nostr.
Isnāt their wallet KYC?
They donāt ask for your ID or photo or anything if thatās what you mean. They do ask for some info and when I did it they only verified the email address.

The primal hate is weird and high schoolish but thereās a clique that likes to pretend it makes them cool to hate it. I ignore them and use it because itās a great app. But my point about NWC is that you can just use Primal for the wallet if you still want to use Damus or Nostur or Amethyst or whatever. In Primal you can create a wallet connection string (like CoinOS gives you) and then paste that into any Nostr app, and then Primal just becomes you sending wallet for that app.
Yeah thereās hate groups for almost every client. I donāt personally āhateā primal or judge others for using it, I just prefer clients that use nostr.build for file sharing and non KYC signups. I may consider using their wallet if this Coinos thing doesnāt resolve soon, but I would rather stick with Coinos ya know? I also have wallet-switching fatigue. Even primal has had issues with their wallet they had to resolve.
Thereās the haters but then thereās the āPrimal Derangement Syndromeā haters š¤£ But yea the wallet switching gets tiresome. CoinOS started having a lot of issues for me so I stopped using it. Primal wallet has been working well and the few issues itās had have so far been resolved quickly. Anyway, nothing to push on it. Just giving you my experience.

Yea lol. Another thing to consider is if youāre only going to use the wallet and link it to other apps with NWC, you could do so with a burner nsec in Primal too.
For what itās worth, Iām mostly using nostr:npub1hcwcj72tlyk7thtyc8nq763vwrq5p2avnyeyrrlwxrzuvdl7j3usj4h9rq (custodial) or nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 (non-custodial). Since I use nostr:npub1zdr58j526qsrkdjhcg9xs60xfutqeey2ucugms04efnlx3spnmns2eqha9 for my NIP-05 identifier, I defined a wallet identifier there and use that in my profile. So whenever I need to switch wallets, I just point my wallet identifier to the new wallet without changing anything else. Works best for me & I can highly recommend that setup. Hope youāll find a solution that suits your needs!!
I like primal but itās completely broken for me on desktop. I cannot zap anymore and follow people at all
I haven't been able to use it with Coracle yet.
If on damus, theres a zap enable script. If unable to fetch invoicesā¦ i usually retry 5-7 times and usually it works on the 3rd fetch try

Yeah Iām on damus and have zap script enabled. Itās not even working for my retries, but it used to work fine, which made me think it was on coinosā end, which some other users have already talked about (there being some sort of issue with coinos right now)

Nostr does have all the reactions, your client/client settings might not. For example, Iām on damus:

Youāre right tho, error fetching invoice in Damus to coinOS. But it worked for nostur, so some kind of issue on Damus side fetching the invoice to coinOS

No because Iām not so sure it is a damus issue. The Coinos people have had issues lately so I donāt know what side my problems are coming fromš

Yeah it's our fault, we started limiting NWC connections recently. If you change or remove the limit here it should start working again: https://coinos.io/settings/nostr

I donāt have any issues with coinos nwc. might be related to connecting to the wallet relay which daniel just fixed

š I enjoy likes...I know, I know...but it is what it is. Zaps are the best, but I carefully select my reacts (that you can't see š), and it's fun seeing what people pick to react. What I'm sayin is go ahead and heart those notes!!
But for real, the like hate is rough for a newb with no sats. Now that I've got my own sats to zap I don't feel as awful as when the hubs had to pity zap me in the beginning, lol.
