ive been building an old school website. full of weird rabbit hole links, random texts, and things meaningful or funny to me. no seo, no marketing, no retardation but the good kind. no javascript. just good old fashioned static files, and shell script cgi, running on plan9.
having alot of fun doing it.

i found a guyβs website once that looked very intentional. i looked at the page source and saw a hidden link. navigating to it revealed a curated playlist, kind of how weβd make mix cds for friends in the early 2000βs. authenticity is high value these days.

im really looking forward to doing some computing this winter
i actually wondered if i would enjoy it anymore, as i had really let go of it in spring, and was enjoying not doing it over summer. i dunno what i was as thinking π€
i go through cycles with it.
but i guess thatβs really just for my personal projects.. i work in software for my day job so im never far from it.

I make lots of websites and don't know what CGI is, lol. Today's experiment was to see if ai could improve my sites performance. Every ai change just made it worse. Good thing I made a backup.
