IMO let them leave. Everyone isn’t for everyone and knowing why people leave could only lead to self-censorship.

What I am more interested in is why *I* followed someone. I wish I could make a note or categorize them in my “follows”

I'm learning that the best approach is to have something that you bring to the table consistently, objective value, and then just saying what you feel like and not caring that much.

It's so easy for people to read your words forty different ways when it's all just text, near impossible to tell what triggers them if you're not Google/Meta using their panopticon approach.
