How many relationship issues are caused by couples blindly accepting the “traditional” one-size-fits-all relationship model?

I love the concept of designer relationships. You can just make your own rules! Do whatever the @#$$% works for you and your partner.

each relationship is its own unique creation :3

Yes, I agree with you! No two people are the same, so how can we thing s relationship would be?

My husband and my relationship looks barely anything like the traditional one! And especially nothing like the trend since feminism took hold!

I'm not responsible for how he acts or dresses. He leads me really well, but also asks for my input in case I have something to add or point out. He's the better cook. He does do all of the active money generating, though we did start our marriage with me working for 3 months while he was the houseman 😎

He's the driver, though I'd probably drive more if I had a US license 😅

I'm only always right while we're in the car, because I sit on his right, not because my words or opinions are correct 🤣

We don't have a house, we don't use debt, and we save everything in bitcoin.

Just those last 3 sets us apart 😎

what is "the trend since feminism took hold"?

Women leading the household and thinking men are pathetic and incapable, needing the women to tell them what to do etc.

That's awful! ...thankfully I don't see much of that in the world.

I think we need to be careful with the word "feminism", it means wildly different things to different people. I try to never use the word with out a qualifier. For quite a lot of people the word simply means women having full human rights, and I don't think we can blame women having rights for bad behavior like your example.

Every relationship is unique

and changing every minute.

"If you live in a society, you **will** be getting a prenup by default. Might as well customize it before you get nupped!"

I think this is a deeper problem of folks just willy nilly doing things out of order. "Have your cake, eat it too, and earn it all later" kind of behavior. "Fiat timing"

Kinda sad to watch over time.
