Today I had my second live psy gym class. This was different than the other, as it was the monthly psychic panel. This meant that we all pulled out our tarot decks and took turns being in the hot seat and everyone pulled cards and offered insights. The person in the hot seat waited until the readers were finished before commenting to validate the readings or ask questions.

When it was my turn I was really astounded by how accurate and consistent the readings these people who I don't know at all gave me. All of them picked up on me being in the wilderness on a lifestyle vacation of sorts (I am unemployed and staying on a friend's ranch in the middle of nowhere ATM). All of them said I was to stay where I was, that being in the wilderness was good for me and what I needed in this moment.

I wasn't super jazzed to hear that, because I'm trying to move out of the desert asap. My lips are chapped, my skin is dry, my nails broke off and no amount of fancy conditioner is saving my hair from the dry and dusty air. The coyotes interrupt my beauty sleep playing Hee Haw and the fuck around gang. This place is trifling.

I said this to try and ask what they saw for me anywhere else... And they just all laughed like it was very funny and started reminiscing about when they stayed on a farm, or in whatever place that smelled like poop and felt awful in the moment but it was the best growth for them. So awesome, I guess I'm going to be in an uncomfortable growth spurt for now ๐Ÿ™ƒ

When other people were in the hot seat I was noticing that often the cards I pulled were the same as what others in the panel were pulling. There are 78 cards in the standard tarot deck (some say rooted in kabbalah mysticism but that's controversial). So in pulling 2 cards, the odds that several of us would pull the same cards was relatively low. However that is exactly what was happening. The themes of all of the readings were very similar and validated by the people in the hot seat.

It was super interesting but went on almost 5 hours. That's too long, but thank goodness I'm unemployed. If you made it to the end of this and want to support my unemployed psychonaut adventures at Psy gym feel free to send me some sats! โšกโšกโšก๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–

What a great confirmation that you're right where you should be (even though you're at a crux). Lean into it!

Thanks I think so! It's all about having an attitude of gratitude! ๐Ÿ’–

The 'kabbalistic mysticism' point is probably controversial because it is generally misunderstood that those who attempt to monopolize kabbalah, also invented it. It was discovered some time in the 10-11th century; a manuscript found, likely under the temple mount by members of the knights templar.

Oh very interesting! I'd love to do some further reading/listening, do you have any recommendations so I can learn more?

After many years of doing this, I don't have the exact physical sources. It was a credible source. My advice is to learn to read reality, it will tell you so much more than books and papers ever will.

Fair. After all, we can only ever really trust our own perceptions in these journeys of consciousness!
