If you're using Wallet Of Satoshi, you are choosing banks over Bitcoin. You've lost the plot. The entire point of Bitcoin is to take power from the banks and give it to the people. You're no better than a Coinbase or other CEX account holder. You are not a Bitcoiner. Stop posing.

What wallet do you like most?
Honestly, the only one on that list I haven't tried is BitKit. I do like Mutiny's use of a PWA to punch their way through Apple's walled garden, but really they're all great choices.

I started with WoS because it's what was suggested to me, but the more I use it, the more I don't like it. 😒
Wouldn’t recommend it but let’s be real lightning should always be a checking account not lifetime savings.

It’s easy to take the approach while sitting on the sidelines. It’s harder in practice. I tipped a delivery guy in bitcoin and tried to use Phoenix. Guess what? Shitcoiners clogged the mempool thereby making it impractical. What was the alternative? WoS or fiat and admit defeat. Bet your ass I’m picking WoS.
WoS has rugged 0 people as far as we know. They’ll still get their Sats.

Honestly if Bitcoiners spent half as much time either building better tools or persuading more people as they did commiserating and circle jerking on nostr we’d be way better off.
I've been telling people since I first heard about WoS to stop using them. Do I get to say 'told ya so'? If you have sats locked up in their rug, I hope you take the opportunity to learn why Bitcoin was built... you know, to avoid depending on centralized financial institutions.

WoS IS a bank. You create an account with them, they hold your money with no way for you to recover it if they fail, they send/receive money in their private inernal ledger as much as possible, they can fractionally reserve the money they account for, they report to regulatory authorities, and can censor users and/or freeze their money.
