No one realized that zaps have won against both lnurl and bolt12.

Ideas on fixing lightning network next?
I thought you said zaps were broken - that they could be misrepresented by someone pretending to have zapped you. Is this fixed or am I misinformed?
Using pure nostr yes, but I think what this all means is that if you have API access to your wallet and compare it with the Zap message, then you have the full end-to-end picture of what happened. IE: you could potentially use a zap on a message just like an invoice, connect to your wallet api and decide what to do. However the nostr clients will not be aware if the invoice was paid or not because that's the piece that is missing (zap confirmation type message).
There are many ways to fix that.
What? I thought tippin.me won already. /s

why is nobody talking about this?

beyond the scope of zaps I'd say; why do you want to do it via zaps? what do you have in mind?
Just after a cheap way to top up my lightning balance as I don’t run a node etc. I’ve used muun in the past but it can seem costly. Seems something like swaps would be an easy way
Zaps⚡️ are mysterious to pre bitcoiners. It doesn’t sound boring to them. Doesn’t sound like money. It sounds cool.
So what exactly is the architecture/network route of a zap?
To the non-devs out there, it seems like it fetches their address (LNurl in this case?) creates a BOLT11 on their behalf and then sends it. I’ve noticed the first few characters in the invoice from zaps is always lnbc37 or lnbc69 or lnbc2100 etc.
Zaps are basically a custodial model and bolt12 favors noncustodial users
Zaps that are fetched over LNURL?
