i don't know how long i have to be on nostr to no longer say that i'm new here. as i'm typing this, i realized that it's when predictive text and autocorrect no longer corrects nostr to nostril.

realistically, a month of daily use is enough to say i've been here long enough. less? idk.

That’s the beauty: you get to decide.

I'm over 2 years.

Sometimes I still feel like a noob.

is it because there's always something new to play with? thanks for your recommendations, by the way. i tried all of them. amber and yakihonne are both great.

This exactly. There always something new & constant improvement. Nostr is in its infancy still. Think the WWW in 1993 for an apt comparison. I'm sure we haven't seen a fraction of what it is capable of. We're exploring an undiscovered country.

maybe it's different for everyone.

i felt "new" for months, and sometimes still do lol

I would say 3 months is a good amount of time to say you have been here long enough to see some shit and have good conversations if you are active within the community. 2 years to say you are a long time user and for the community to either fall in love with you, or lament your very existence.

Either way. Glad you are here. Hope you stick around awhile.
