False: you can do instantly using an atomic swap
Not false. The BIP doesn't mention atomic swaps. You are assuming a swap is implemented and you have an active swap taker.
I can see why you might that but I assure you that this is not a real concern. Atomic swaps have hundreds of open source implementations just look at the dozens of submarine swap implementations already on github.
Its not meant for everyday user use. Its intended for techinaly skilled brokers.
It's opt-in. If you don't want to use it, you never have to.
