Ok #asknostr time.

I'm starting a web-hosting business with focus on my local area, might as well (I have a few existing clients in the area). The question is should I use legacy social media? I really don't want to, but I also understand that it is still a good way to get decent local reach. The only reason I'm debating not is one of my existing clients is a radio station, and they agreed to run some ads on the radio for me.

Considering my target audience is going to be local types who are not super tech-savvy and might not have a site or have one, but it was made in the early 2000s and never updated..... I'm wondering if I could get away with just radio and limited physical adverts. It would be kinda cool if I could make this work *without* having to fucking use Meta or Twitter.

Maybe I could run an experiment where I don't do any social media stuff for the first couple months. See if I get any business. Just use radio and word of mouth for a bit.

Ya, I bet you could get the same audience with bulletin boards (in coffee shops etc) or flyers .. go canvas the local businesses that might have lame websites, etc.. or even going through Google maps for every business and looking at the site they link in there.. lots of possibilities for sure.

Ngl I'll need some servers if this picks up. Would be sick if I could levrage bitcoiners as much as possible. I'll Probably end up needing graphic designers and server space ect..
