Which music relay should we try this with?
We added the ability to configure relays specifically for music discovery (and streams). Now you can discover more music, without having to add these relays to your own account relays.
Many other improvements have been added, including "Publish Event" for tracks and playlists, giving you the ability to ensure your own (and other's) tracks are available on your own relays. We've seen that tracks are distributed differently depending on the music app you're using, so this is a great way to ensure everyone will discover your music.

Discussion
That is the question! When we see if there is some aggregation of music on certain relays, we'll add it to the default configuration under Music so people will discover more. Right now we suggest adding at least the two defaults we've added to find music.
I see! In the video it is:
wss://basspistol.org
wss://nos.lol
How about starting a dedicated relay only for music, named clearly as such?
Was experimenting, the basspistol setup and the users on it is not conducive to the outbox model which Nostria implements.
It will take a while for there to be massive amount of music events, so anyone could really host a dedicated music relay that every app could aggregate towards.
Uff I don’t understand more technical terms :) I’m just exploring music streaming options on Nostr. But I’m sure you’ll come up with a solution one day :)
