Nah, Google has 100x the valuable user and learning data. I’d bet some sats that Google will be releasing a superior AI and just doesn’t care when they do it in relation to Bing.
That being said I don’t use either so it’s only mildly interesting either way 😆
What data would that be? The crawled web? I think Bing has indexed slightly more. And I don’t think web searches are relevant for training data. One thing is for sure, superior AI prevents users from clicking ads, so Googles Bard will be dumbed down, same as Microsoft dumbed down Bing AI to 6 answers per topic
It's the necessary pivot to a new monetization model that's the danger posed by ChatGPT to Google. They've never once invented a business model, just bought doubleclick.com and fed it with data.
