From the new user's perspective, or from the perspective of the Ditto community self-hoster?
Either way, not yet, but I could make one showing how new users sign up once your site is launched! However being a Ditto community self-hoster at this stage does require some technical skill, so I don't recommend it right now if the community don't have anyone techy to help out. By the end of next quarter we aim to drastically reduce the technical barrier to entry for self hosting!
I also recommend testing out creating a new account at https://ditto.pub to try it and see how easy it is to create a new account once the server is up!
Very interesting about making it easier to setup a new instance or community
That's the end goal, for Ditto to be the easiest way to self-host your own Nostr experience for you and your community. Ditto.pub is just the prototype.
Well in that case, would it help to have a grounds up test community? There’s some seriously techie people here I could drag in I reckon. Just need to motivate. Might help you identify friction points
Yes! Absolutely! Do you want to plan a time to chat?
And if you want to start poking around in the meantime... Here's the docs 😁

Got someone who knows how to use a keyboard looking through everything you’ve got out there. I’ll ping you after we get a meet organised here and I get everyone on same vision (fuck me that’s a pompous sounding word…. Page?)
