Remember how much the Disney Hercules movie was focused upon Hercules becoming a "true hero" in order to become a demi-god?

Hero comes from Chi and Rho.

c H i RhO

(c)H i R(h)O

(c)H{E} R(h)O

H E R O

It wasn't just Hercules/Heracles either. According to legend, Heracles was taught by "Chiron" (there's chi and r(h)o again :))

Chiron also taught Jason, Achilles, and Aesclepius. In some variations Chiron also taught Patroclus whose death catalyzed the duel between Achilles and Hector. These were all extraordinarily talented individuals. These were geniuses in their respective disciplines.

A true "hero" in the chi rho sense of the term, would be a "spiritually advanced" person and, most likely, an initiate of some mystery cult, e.g. the Eleusinian mysteries. My guess is that they all, at the very least, had activated wisdom chakras. The heroes are presented as honorable, using their abilities in service to others. I suspect some (perhaps all) had active heart chakras, and some had active 3rd eye chakras.

Bear in mind, Chi + Rho = Phi.

Phi = the Golden Ratio

In that same Hercules movie, Herc's "life thread" turns into uncuttable gold just as the Three Fates were about to cut it. That was the moment he became a "chi rho"...a "demi-god". This is symbolic of the "golden aura" associated with enLIGHTenment. Again, auras are visible to anything with magnetosensitive vision including many animals and humans. That's what the Eleusinian Mysteries were largely about: inducing magnetosensitivity in initiates so they could see auras and know that the soul was real and can be developed.

The obvious just struck me:

If hero is a derivative of Chi and Rho, and a hero's name starts with HERAcles, that's only one letter off from hero.

Chi and Rho is even baked into the names of Heracles and, for that matter, Hera.

What are you smoking today sir?

Are you unfamiliar with my research?

Also, weed, no different from usual.

The funny part is that I can do triple digit multiplication in my head after a dozen bong rips. I'll do it successfully and I'll do it faster than most people could do it on their phone (assuming phone in pocket or nearby/at hand, phone must be unlocked, calculator app must be accessed, etc.).

I acknowledge it probably is responsible for my train of thought becoming derailed on occasion, but other than that, it has no clear negative effect on my cognitive performance.

I've heard (from Jason Reza Jorjani, probably misspelled) that "hero" comes from 'Eros,' the same root for erotic, and that the heroes of old were the offspring of angels and human women.

It seemed to make sense, but I'm not saying I believe it.

Excellent addition. Agreed. I had that in my notes too(picture).

After figuring out that "hierophant" was composed of chi rho phi nt, I connected to heiroglyphics, Cairo and recently, hieros gamos and hieros logos. Those last two put Eros right on my doorstep.

The interpretation can also go both ways, and I'm going to predict that you find a connection between gender and the chi / rho letters (idk, but it would fit). The more standard and exoteric understanding is that literal angels, basically ET's, got it on with women and made giants. Slightly more occulted would be that they were just humans who did the inner work and lived such fulfilled lives that they became legends, the heroes of old, gods, men of great renown, etc. - that inner work involving uniting male and female energies within themselves.

I'm not saying one or the other is right. Both could be, or neither. I'm just... following along I guess.

I think you've got it extremely correct.

I linked this note below on the deeper meaning of Chi and Rho in the original note above about Hercules.

Ah, I'm returning your ideas back to you without realizing it 😂

I actually appreciate the independent validation of the idea quite a bit.

When different paths converge upon the same destination, logic dictates that location contains some form of value.

Funny thing is that I only learned about Chi and Rho within the last couple of months or so, yet I've rapidly made a ton of progress with it.

It's like when you click on some squares in minesweeper and like 25% of the board gets cleared for you...that's what exploring the etymological connections of Chi Rho has been like.
