For those not on Twitter anymore, a little update on Real Bedford.
Today was the most nuts game, we were losing 5-3 and had a player sent off. This is normally certain defeat, yet some how we managed to pull two goals back and get a draw.
Meanwhile, our rivals for the league were winning 1-0 and conceded a goal at the death. From looking like they would gain three points on us, we remained on level points. So we are four points clear.
If we win the league again, we will be only the third side in the history of English football to win three leagues in a row, nobody has done four.
Tomorrow our women play Norwich. The women are also top of the league, if they win it that will be back to back promotions.
Football is nuts, it throws the most crazy scenarios at you…but here in Bedford something special is happening.
