1. Fork dogecoin call it cheemscoin
2. Get logan paul to promote it
3. When it gets popular, sell everything
4. Repeat

I have one (toy project, nothing serious). It has the old op_codes re-enabled and a few introspection ones.
It's pretty cool that I can do this with Bitcoin without asking anybody.

Also bitcoin client has no auto CheckForUpdates feature. Never alerts about new version.
No version is old. No version reached EndOfLife.
If the miners really want to fork for more fees, does anyone want to have a "double-halving" client ready--just in case?
When I'm asked the question by newbies about why can't we just change the code, I use a golf analogy. So, let's say you own a golf course and want to make it easier and more accessible for new people. What you do is increase the hole to 1ft diameter. It's your golf course and you can go what you want. However, if you want the PGA to adopt the change, you now have to convince the majority of golf clubs to make the change. Of course, many, if not all of them have incentives to tell you to go stuff your proposed change, and that is likely what will happen.
Choices are within our control. Aligning choices with virtue leads to inner peace and wisdom.
