Over the years I had many patients who had “Tried every diet,” “Had a medical condition that made it impossible to lose weight” “Ate less than 1500 calories a day but still didn’t lose any weight” yet every one of them ended up losing massive amounts of weight after gastric bypass surgery.

It is the quality and amount of food you eat for 99% of people who are overweight.

In theory the “ate less than x calories” should have had the same effect as bypass, but they weren’t able to self regulate?

Garbage in, garbage out. Switching to eating nutritious foods puts a person in control of their body.

Exactly. The whole argument of slow metabolism or medical conditions are disproven by gastric bypass in my experience.

I've lost almost 30 lbs by fasting, moving, and avoiding processed crap, seed oils, and focusing on protein and healthy fats. I also eat veggies because I enjoy them and rice every now and again. I feel so much better and it's been worth it. I still want to thank nostr:npub17nvfw7g53nxjghyd2zg552z06cke0jc0k69hj7ns7f9pw26j9kusap4u85 for the motivation though. I just wanted to interact with people on nostr when I first got here so decided to do the 30 day challenge and that was my catalyst

Oh that’s amazing. I always admire people who take responsibility of their health into their own hands. Congrats and followed.

Thanks and follow nostr:npub17nvfw7g53nxjghyd2zg552z06cke0jc0k69hj7ns7f9pw26j9kusap4u85 he posts way more interesting and motivating things than I do.
