Anyone who tells you that Red Meat is not part of a proper human diet is either ignorant, dishonest or trying to sell you something.
Discussion
Sell you something like another mixture of high fructose corn syrup and seed oils? Yummm!
It's interesting how often I defend red meat in healthcare when I don't even eat meat.
I wish I could but I've just never been able to stomach meat. I can't stand the taste or texture.
But I can say without doubt that I feel better when my meals are mostly animal based protein and fats (butter, eggs, cheese, greek yogurt, whey isolate). I don't buy the hype against red meat. It seems like the healthiest option if it's raised well, and it's probably healthier than most food now even if it's the cheapest meat.
I don't eat any meat but no doubt properly raised or wild meat is healthy foid. What is ridiculous though is the meat-only brigade, the carnivore types. Extremism isn't healthy but it's their lives and IGAF what they eat but it will have consequences 20-30yrs down the road for them.
what if an AI tells that red meat is not good? 🤔

but mostly they're just a partner of the World Economic Forum.
Went carnivore about a year ago. Most things that were "wrong" with me turned out to simply be the effects of my diet. Now, my shoulder pain is gone, my skin is healthier, and my hands and feet are no longer cold all the time. Appreciate your videos!
most movements, carnivore being one example, have at least one fundamentally sound idea at the core and then develop an entire religion of bullshit around it ...
my goal is to separate the wheat from the chaff of ideas ...
in fact it is my duty since i'm the only one with both intelligence and integrity to do it and without me humanity is lost ...
the fundamental good idea at the center of carnivore is that Cows are much better at converting grass into nutrients ( steak ) than Humans are at converting Grain into nutrients, because Cows evolved to eat grass but Humans didn't evolve to eat Grain ...
most of the rest of Carnivore Ideology is bullshit designed to manufacture an identity and a cult around eating meat
Veganism is exactly the same. Their fundamental good idea is that if we can consume plant matter directly instead of feeding it to Animals and then killing them then it is both more efficient and more ethical.
But of course they also couldn't just stop there and had to invent an entire "science" ( LOL ) about Cholesterol and Saturated Fat being bad for you and Fiber being good, they had to invent Global Warming etc. until we now have people taking statins and gluing themselves to the road to stop "Climate Change" ...
all movements left unchecked reach the same level of insanity, and my duty is to do what i can to stop it.
if i can't stop the madness then i hope to at least leave behind an intellectual framework the next generation can use to continue my work.
Yes.
different people need different diets
my wife is a low on cholesterol
my body makes cholesterol out of kale
animal protein is angiogenic and it's great if you're injured, wounded, but you don't need a lot of blood vessels growing as fast as they can if you have cancer
So why do they come out and say it’s bad to eat red meat when you’re aging?
because old people are worthless garbage who should just die
meat is precious and should be reserved for the young
There is no such thing as a universal food that’s good for everyone. Or a diet that’s good for everyone.
We all have unique DNA and the expression of that DNA determines what optimizes for our body. The best way to do this is is to get oral and gut microbiome testing twice a year and getting the precise foods and supplements that work best for your unique body not anyone else.
you are not a unique snowflake.
you're just a piece of meat.
you will die like a dog like everybody else.
and be forgotten.
Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Taoism, confusionism - that’s a lot of people on this planet. Perhaps “proper” is a bit righteous. Or click bait for selling something.
Nope. If you follow every member of each of those religions back enough generations, All of their ancestors ate meat without exceptions
Ok but what about everyone since then
I’m not against eating meat. But life expectancy gets shorter as you go back in time. Our species resilience over time has been its ability to utilize various sources of food rather than one source and animal domestication was much later on our evolution than an origin story. Life thrives in therapeutic ranges of nutrients. They can optimized but pouring more energy dense food in than required creates more metabolic byproducts than benefits. Balance is more important than “more is better”. I’m all for not weaponizing any one food group.
Nah man. You’re mistaken. Meat is expensive. Its cheaper to feed peasants grains and keep the meat for themselves. 4 billion chinese cant all eat 5lbs of meat a week so they feed them rice.
Its all “incentive theory” man
So much about religion is wonderful that I dont want you to mistake me here but theres also a lot of selfish shit written in those religious texts.
Its all about controlling the population and always has been. This shit has been going on since the dawn of time.
🍻
I agree with the economic incentives of our diets. And I also agree religion has served as a control on the populace in many instances since its inception. My point of these groups is that they are examples of large populations that live long healthy lives without meat. Meat is a fantastic source of energy and nutrients. Properly raised, I support it as a part of one’s diet.
I think the Point everyone is trying to make is that meat isn’t bad for you.

There are plenty examples out there of people not eating red meat 🥩 and being top-athletes, some even being the best in their field.
pretty much all meat can be healthy if it came from a healthy animal
As a carnivore, I feel like you're trying to sell me beef and I can dig it.
I was just listening to breedloves podcast about the mongols. Marco Polo reported back they could force march for 8 days without so much as stopping to even light a fire and then go directly into battle with the Chinese. The mongols knew that if they could catch the opposing (rice fed) force off guard and keep them in battle for an extended period that they would become weak and easily defeat them if the missed a few meals.
The mongol hoard was known for eating nothing but meat and yogurt (keifer) made from the female horses they rode into battle. How fkn savage is that?!?
Eat like your ancestors did.
Pretty god damn simple.

mongol diet ftw
So how do you explain the fact that it increases the incidence of heart disease and cancer?
good to see you on nostr
True. Meat is even part of the Macrobiotic diet, if you choose, it's not essential but it's an option... worldwide and in a moderate amount...
I think we don’t need to be convinced here 😂
