Had my first bite of magic mushrooms chocolate on this day... 10 years ago... The world suddenly turned up looking and feeling a lot more sparkly beautiful. My heart magically in awe. A random person playing strings on the edge of the coast cliff. the sound and sun reflecting in the ocean waves making love with all my senses. My inner child carefree came out to play. I wanted to bring all these gorgeous pebbles and smooth tiny magical pieces of driftwood home with me

Psychedelics are like a total mental reboot. good thing to do every few years.

I have journeyed many times since. The mushrooms scrub you clean. And then there's microdosing that can be great too.

Sounds nice. Cool rocks.

I was obsessed with rock tumblers when I was a kid. I begged my mom for one for like 6mo, and she finally got it for me for my 9th birthday. Tumbling rocks became my obsession for like a year. Then I developed other interests and sorts put the tumbler on the shelf. I'd still use it once or twice a year pretty much til I was 18, but I had a tendency to get really into something, and then once it went through my system, I'd get bored with it and move on to something else.

Thank you, for sharing. It's cool to hear you having been really passionate about a thing. What exactly do you do with a roxk tumbler?

You find interesting little rocks; ones with some colors and different textures. You want rocks that are about the size of a marble, maybe a little bigger. Then you put them in the tumbler with some grit and water, and turn it on. It's tumbles the rocks, and the grit takes the edges off and starts to smooth it out. After a while, you turn it off and remove the rocks and grit. Then, you put them back in with some more water and a finer grit, and let it run again. You do this a few times, each time using a finer grit. You end up with a totally smooth, polished rock with an almost glass-like surface. It really brings out the colors and details. You can build a little collection of cool rocks with various colors and detail.

This is what they look like at the end of the process.

nice ones! 👀👀👀

I always love the ones with distinct striping from the different layers of minerals.

I know what you mean 👍

Theyre all really fascinating

Awesome. Thank you, for attuning me into the process. This make sense. Sounds like a real fun hobby for a boy.

It definitely is. You become obsessed with finding rough rocks that show a hint of color and texture, and seeing how beautiful they look once they've been polished.

Love this. 🌠

Got to love the beauty of mushrooms. Truly does open the heart.

What opens the heart or even spirit more is meditation on the inner light and sound.

All beauty indeed

Yes indeed. All of it. I love to love. Lots pulls my heart's strings and moves me to tears. The heart keeps opening.

“Don’t surrender your loneliness so quickly.

Let it cut more deep.

Let it ferment and season you

as few humans or even divine ingredients can.

Something is missing in my heart tonight,

has made my eyes so soft,

my voice so tender,

my need of God absolutely clear.”

Written by the 14th-century Persian mystic and poet Hafiz. This poem reflects the deep spiritual longing and transformative power of loneliness, a common theme in Hafiz's work, where he often expresses the idea that human suffering can lead to a greater connection with the divine. The lines beautifully convey the poet's belief in the spiritual benefits of embracing one's solitude and pain, allowing them to deepen one's relationship with God.

Beautiful thought about the world’s stimuli making love to your senses. That’s a keeper. I, too, love the mushroom guides and enjoy them regularly.

Healing!
