Interesting how I didn't see a single person post how much they liked the food at Shake n Bake—just the fact they now accept Bitcoin. It's cool and all, but that's a pretty low bar, AFAIC.
Yes, you observed it very carefully.
I didn't see anyone saying how much they like pizza. I just know that someone accepts Bitcoin to pay for pizza 🍕.

Yes, that was a long, long time ago...
Yes, so paying with Bitcoin goes a long, long way. I wish more stores would accept Bitcoin payments. Of course nostr:npub14q8uffuxxnhzd24u4j23kn8a0dt2ux96h5eutt7u76lddhyqa0gs97ct2x needs to look into a good business.
Adoption is a very good thing. I pay for lots of things in Bitcoin and preferably Monero (including my website hosting, domains, and so on), and have done so for well over a decade now. Like, why wouldn't a business accept all major forms of currency possible? You can easily convert it to the one(s) you prefer. V4V is the way.
Which Monero wallet do you recommend? I have a server, any wallet I can spin up on my own?
You can use the Monero GUI or command-line wallet to run your own node. For mobile, I like Cake Wallet—it lets you connect to your own node, do KYC-free swaps, and hold multiple cryptocurrencies in one app.
Does make u think actually … I am trying to get a few local businesses in my neighborhood to use strike or some other lightning wallet to take payment
That's wonderful. V4V is the way.
I'll be excited when utility companies and supermarkets start accepting sats.
Don't mute people then, BC their Frisco melt beats every other fast food restaurants burger. Chilli cheasefries are bomb, chilli 5way are bomb, mix the orange freeze with a vanilla shake and you have an orange dream sickle.
The shake was pretty, but imma Kansas girl. I like em THICK. This was not THICK. Didn’t finish it.

Buying a franchise is a scam. The corporations make more money then you in the long run. The franchise always finds say to squeeze every penny from the owner.
The owner just ends up getting brunt out from working all the time and many other problems.
Thanks for sharing.
Business is business. nostr:npub14q8uffuxxnhzd24u4j23kn8a0dt2ux96h5eutt7u76lddhyqa0gs97ct2x 🙏
100% anyone is better off starting their own business.
Buying a franchise is all the risk with less rewards
I know a man that franchised Arby's. He grew one into dozens of locations and is worth $65 million in his 60s
I'm not saying the market is same now though. I suspect it's much harder to replicate that level of success
and long did it take him to achieve that? all his life? What's his cut? many questions.
The fiat world you used to know is not going to exist in the future. Those overinflated properties won't exist, we are moving to a full Bitcoin standard and borrowing money to expand won't be possible.
Franchises won't exist because running your own business will be far more profitable.
it took him 40 years of hard work
I don't know his net margin / earnings from peak ops but he started with $25K in the 1970s
the fiat world is not going away soon
Bitcoin will grow and take share in the beauty of its way but state money is going to be around a while
back then it was much easier to build that type of empire. Especially during the boomer era and even better before that.
Real estate was the same thing. If you're willing to borrow and work anyone could of built that.
Its much more difficult now but it still can be done. The thing is it's not worth it. You have to work much harder and the fiat system is crumbling and declining. The future is not the fiat system. You will end up going bankrupt and left holding the bags.
It's going to be around but not for 40 years. Another 20 years max.
You think the world will just adopt Bitcoin overnight?
It even took the globalist bankers several decades to trick the masses to adopt the federal reserve note instead of gold.
Things take time, both the bad guys and good guys need time to implement things.
the dominating $USD reserve currency fiat system will fail in next 40 years indeed. I can't predict the "state" won't still force a fiat system on the brainwashed socialist masses
I'm optimistic that Bitcoin will be the everyday currency by 40 years in most countries.
If you believe fiat will be around for 40 years then go ahead and buy a franchise but I think Bitcoin will outperform a franchise by far.
