Is there more unrest in the world today than the past few decades? Or are we more aware of the unrest more than anytime in the past few decades? Or a mixture of both? #asknostr

Probably both. I tend to think we are hyper exposed to everything going on around the world now. More than we ever were before. It makes it hard to discern what is noise and what is important to pay attention to.

I think both. And the more aware, the more people have become inspired to unrest.

Unrest begets unrest?

Certainly

More aware

I say both. There's more people and more cameras today, leading to an increase in both, in my opinion.

Pre-Covid i read "Factfulness" (highly reccommended book) and was sure that the book was right about it being the most peaceful time ever. Now, i am not so sure anymore if its still valid πŸ™ƒ

For sure. It seems like we’re at the end of a relatively peaceful era which is part of the question. That might be why the unrest seems to be growing.

It seems that the hyperfloods of information from the web makes even the calmest life filled with events and worries from all over the globe today
