I’m no expert just seeing pattern matches. Former FDIC chair is arguing for a temporary systemwide deposit guarantee
because you can't have negative interest rates (basically making people pay to have their money in a bank)
Interest rates should be determined by the free market not by central planners. There’s a cost to borrowing money and this should be determined by market participants not some unelected bureaucrat
