Like I discussed on nostr:nprofile1qqsgt0d4sa0pz0wvn9yck36xxezf3qhwzksu0q254vruqed5wvuavuspzfmhxue69uhky6t5wd6xzcmt9eshquqpz3mhxue69uhkymrpwd68ytnxxaazu7re0gr80m5k years ago: the Gov may be centralized, but it's data and operations are highly distributed AND fragmented.

This fragmentation has acted a buffer for freedom that has prevented the Gov from efficiently carrying out it's tyrannical impulses.

#DigitalIdentity *unifies* data across Gov functions, indexing everything off legal identiy. This makes Gov 100x more efficient; it can be expanded with computers instead of people.

For a glimpse into the future, look to Beijing. #Palantir is being rolled into place for next gen governance; a social credit system that displaces laws on paper.

Soon, every desirable location in the physical and digital world will be gated by social credit, and every action taken by subjects will be registered to their #DigitalIdentity so that it can be traversed and processed by AI scoring.

This is the #GreatReset.

How does decentralized social media like Nostr fit in with this plan? I'm assuming they could scrape here but is it worth it? Or is the assumption they are only doing this in legacy social media?

#Nostr eliminates any explicit #DigitalIdentity gating.

As for attribution of speech and payments to legal identity, Palantir would have to use implicit heuristics to attempt to determine who is doing what.

Only defense is VPN and careful privacy techniques with your sats. I don't suspect it's too difficult to figure out who is doing what as it stands right now.

You need to be extremely careful. A single picture, a clip of your voice, an online purchase you were public about, may be enough to link you to your legal identity with a high degree of confidence
