Yeah, the only DAO I saw that had any validity was the one that was bidding on the US Constitution document at auction but was outbid by Ken Griffin.

Most Web3 daos are always tied to their tokens as well which is a total miss imo.

Polkadot chains have native daos built in with funding and proposal’s going which is one of the more interesting ways of doing it imo.

There’s also the treasury and bounty tabs under “Governance” main menu option.

I still don’t think most of these things need to be “on-chain” etc… can be built much lighter

Yeah the token tied to it is another grift hence my scepticism. If it’s possible with bitcoin and lightning then it could have potential. If it’s a token then nah
