2 days ago I looked at myself in the mirror and decided to go without food for 2 days. The first day was hard, I felt weird, a bit not well, sleepy, hungry. The 2nd day I felt amazing! Super sharp, agile, fresh, zero hunger, no bloat.

Thank you for all of your kind comments and motivation 🫂 💜

I love this place and the kind people who always say positive things and uplift.

My takeaways if there are any:

- it feels great on day 2. I definitely want to do it again. I feel like I could go another day, but I wanted to do a trial first.

- this is probably much easier to do if you travel or are single. Having to cook for kids and serve them meals when we’re out and about is a bit of torture 😂

- I may try 24 hours next time, but may also do more 48s - highly recommend it to anyone who is considering

- I’d want proper electrolytes next time. Whatever I cooked up at home wasn’t great. I felt dehydrated all the time despite drinking a lot. Had a salt rich of potassium and magnesium but still didn’t feel right. I did have some electrolytes packets but they contain sugar so I didn’t use them. I’ll buy a proper mix before I do my next fast.

I lost 10lbs in the process - but I imagine all of that is water weight. Still feels great not to feel bloated.

Love it! Thanks for sharing & well done 💪

Thank you for your kind words of motivation 🫂

Thanks for sharing your experience with us, I'm going to try these things out for 2025 ❤️

Let me know when you do, I may do it with you.

Certainly for January. My motivation will only increase tenfold. Keep in touch 🤝

Sounds good. I’ll do another in January!

I want to try this. What did you drink?

Would Powerade and Beef stock work?

I had a salt that contained potassium and magnesium and I took a magnesium supplement but I may have gotten the amounts wrong. I’d buy proper keto electrolytes next time. Most stuff contains sugar so you have to be careful not to buy that. Some even say “sugar-free” but they are not.

Wow ok...bet that steak tasted amazing?

Yes. No words. All the food was mind blowing good

No 100k for me?

🤣 told you I’m gonna nail it. But tell ya what, you do yours next and I’ll zap ya that amount at the end.

You might’ve just started a trend sir.

Wouldn’t be the first 😂

Good for you and well done 💪

Nice! 🫂

I got to 3 days but the last (half) day was really hard. Now simply trying to eat less (smaller portions).

Nice !!! Well done, I gonna do a post-Christmas fast - you’ve inspired me 🙏🏼

Well done! 💜

Well done, after getting past the hard bit it almost seems a shame to break the fast doesn't it. 😂

Congrats on the 48hr fast! It’s incredible how the human body adapts and even thrives when fasting.

Adopting an OMAD eating habit isn’t difficult and will ensure you’re getting a consistent 24hr fast. I mostly do 18hrs with 2 meals happening late morning and late afternoon. Once you’re comfortable with that schedule, adjusting to OMAD is easy. Throwing in a multi-day fast as needed is the bigger challenge, but not as much as doing one without having an existing fasting schedule in place.

Good luck!

Well done!

As I said in a previous comment usually after 36 hours you start experimenting the benefits. The first 24 hours can be hard since you have to overcome the hypoglycemic peak. For this reason I stopped to do 24 hours fasts one time every week and now I just do 72 hours when I feel I need it.

Electrolytes make a huge difference!

Every Full moon day and New moon day. 36hrs fasting. Been doing this for 3+ years now. You get used to it and you feel totally in-charge.

Your 48 hour fasting is inspirational, nostr:npub1r0rs5q2gk0e3dk3nlc7gnu378ec6cnlenqp8a3cjhyzu6f8k5sgs4sq9ac

nicely done! I am prepping g to get on a regular 24-36 hour fast days and some monthly 72 hrs ones again.
