Not AI, you would see AI mess up the texture more. I'm wondering if it is crochet over a frame?

🤷‍♀️ I can't make sense of it, those aren't all crochet stitches. It looks more like coated wire to me than crochet stitches. Whatever it is, it's got great texture.
