Man this is so stupid. What do people think a nation-state is? You cant run violent enforcement on a piece of software, and just because you can run a piece of software that says “we should do X or you own Y,” if a violent mafia can just ignore them, refusing to do X or easily taking Y, then it doesnt do anything. I could just as easily type up the constitution on my Mac and then tell all my friends about how great it would be if we all adhered to it. The closest thing to a nation-state you can likely achieve, and/or the most important part of the very notion, is securing property rights in direct opposition to the government… or in other words, bitcoin.

If this person thinks that Cardano is going to protect user ownership against powerful state adversaries better than bitcoin, they are stupid.
