Got a connection error with the zs server, tried the basic, good and best. Same thing for all of them.

At first i thought it might be an amber issue, because it kept going through permission screens to the point i just entered my nsec into the app in order not to die of epilepsy (the amber switching was rather erratic). But that did not fix the issue. There was more amber stuff acting weird, but its way past my bedtime and im tired so i maybe get into that some other time. App looks good though, and watching streams went ok.

The first thing I notice is that the background is completely black whereas it should be showing you a video preview from your camera.

If we somehow failed to get your camera running in the app, then that may explain why the server is rejecting your stream, because it expects video.

The server connection otherwise looks ready, as API shows stream key, tos and balance all checked.

May I ask please what phone you are using? And also whether the camera is ever visible in the app, or never?

Would you be happy to do a test for me with another server?

I have spun up an API.video test server for you with the following credentials.

You would press on the server to edit servers, then add a new generic server with th se credentials.

Ingest URL: rtmp://broadcast.api.video/s

Streamkey: 9844ba32-a86b-4eb5-bccd-bb00e52aba0a

HLS playback URL: https://live.api.video/liOgzYfoRsLdcpi8Nh43Y0e.m3u8

If you tested this and it works, then the issue is likely with Amber and zap stream somehow. Or, if you tested this and it didn't work then the issue is somehow with your device and broadcast somehow.

If you're willing to try this I'd love to hear how you get on!

Fyi, its not an amber issue, because i am using my nsec instead of amber.
