GM. Trend I’ve noticed in all my travels this year: Airports in developing nations are waaaay nicer and better run than European airports, which-in turn-are waaaay nicer than most major American hub airports.

The empires are crumbling under their own weight.

Jeez GM!

Decades of underinvestment.

GM!

No question about it. I travel extensively and am amazed at the general ease to get in and out of Asian airports vs say arriving at LAX. Plus as you say, the facilities are truly clean , modern and catering for the customer.

Their airports are newer.

It's that sweet structural adjustment $$$

yep

GM ☕️ Sounds about right, legacy systems crumble under inefficiency.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin keeps humming quietly, empire-free, borderless, unstoppable.

We have an absolutely beautiful airport here in Helsinki. Makes almost anywhere else we could fly to seem like crap 😂

Can confirm

Yep, it's like we need a new term, like "Post Developed" or something. Entropy is expensive.

I believe the term is White Elephant

As an intentional cargo pilot, you are 100% correct. And the newer airports are designed with better efficiency and learned from older inefficient airports. Every airport in China is exactly the same layout.

Yeah Lagos is a great airport!
