Quite a bit because of the miners and getting the Pro version of Embassy rather than the Embassy One.

I think the Embassy was a pre-order so i snagged that for $1500, and both the miners were $1500 each, then the Umbrel was put together for maybe $150ish.

Total probably with some wiggle room and without adding in running the 220 outlets for the miners, I'm at $4,650

Could have easily done an Embassy One & two S9s instead and managed for $800 or less.

i hope you are using whatsminer tools to underclock your miners frequency by -30% in order to get efficient 26J/Ths

No, but I had just seen that. I have had them in low power mode and they def have best hash/watt output with that. Will check on that tho thanks πŸ™πŸ»

I just upgraded my house setup. I swapped out my Pi systems for an old HP Proliant server. I'm virtualizing a 4 core / 16gb machine for my start9 and Umbrel servers plus upgraded the storage to a raid setup to prevent against drive failure. I'm also hosting a few other VMs I use regularly.

Server - $180+tax on ebay

4 S9 - $400

I already had plenty of SSDs around so I didn't have any costs there but even if I would have bought a few drives I could have slid under $800.
