There are moments where I think some misunderstanding is based on poor joke literacy or comprehension. (I'm not saying I'm some sort of sophisticated joke connoisseur here lol, I just mean basic literacy really). Because the setting of Nostr isn't really about fun or anything much other than 'bitcoin, monero, fiat, shitcoin, blah blah blah etc'. So it's tumbleweeds at best lol.

Which is why nostr hasn't escaped the bitcoin telegram group dilemma, even when people air drop users in by onboarding them from outside the bubble. What would keep most of them here lol. The hope is to bombard them with bitcoin 'memes' and zap bribes. Mostly no one outside of BT would stay. And the feedback loop strikes again lol, get more people from BT. They stay.

But anyway. This is a nostr-as-microblogging problem.

But even more Anyway. It's not my problem. Lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I shouldn't have brought up the ages old nostr complaint lol. I just happens spontaneously every few months lolol.

It's all fine really. Lol

i'm trying to get a friend to use it for as a WordPress site replacement, and the best part about it is that maybe they get orange pilled!

They could at least try using a nostr longform client additionally, not sure if there's a way to automate publishing to both at the same time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but wouldnt be too difficult to copy paste over. I assume lol

We can try to do our part by starting interesting conversations on random topics or making funny jokes.

But it's definitely true that the two cultures on Nostr so far are Bitcoin aficionados and developers. That's fine, every part of the web has its own culture. But while that remains true there's no draw for other people outside those bubbles.
