Unlike companies, protocols aren't under time limits. They don't run out of money and die.

Nostr has come a ridiculously long way from a year ago when we used astral ninja and terminal clients.

Be patient and try to appreciate these very early days that move so fast.

It’s just math

.....and tens of thousands of hours of people sacrificing their lives to a particular cause.

That’s what I mean. The amount of hours put into open protocols by passionate and innovative people will always over time beat closed projects. Just math.

One tap and zapped a fellow anons uncensorable post with uncensorable money, nostr early days are outright magic

Yes. There is real marketing appeal in the fact that is a bit shit right now. It is very obviously work in progress but it is also educating a lot of people about how open source platforms work.

For example, you could understand a lot about bitcoin from using nostr without knowing it. So every new system like this bootstraps the others.

Linux comes to mind. It's not polished, even now, but it is much better than everything else in may ways. Hopefully we can do better though, driver issues ultimately made me quit linux for home use.

Exactly!

I came for the memes but stayed for the revolution. ✊🏻
